This slow cooked ham is just 6 simple ingredients; a boneless or bone-in spiral ham, brown sugar, canned pineapple, maple syrup, butter and a dash of cloves. Plus, it's a dump-and-go recipe, minimal effort and little clean up required.
Spray a crock pot with nonstick spray or use a crock pot liner. Place the ham in the crock pot.
In a bowl melt the butter then whisk in the brown sugar, maple syrup, pineapple juice and cloves. Pour over the ham.
Place the pineapple rings on top and around the ham. If the ham is pre-sliced, add some pineapple in between slices.
Cook on low 3-4 hours or on high 2 hours, basting halfway through the cooking time.
Let the ham rest at least 10 minutes before slicing. Place ham slices on a serving platter with the pineapple slices and pour over the cooking juices.
Optional: after cooking place the ham on a sheet pan or in a baking dish. Pour over the sauce and broil a couple of minutes to get a crisp outside.
